General Business
1/ Minutes of meeting held August 17th 2005 were circulated and confirmed as a true record
2/ No Police were present again - County Cllr M Nicholls is to take this matter up.
3/ County Cllr Maurice Nicholls reported that the ARRIVA 55 will do its normal service in October after numerous meetings with Management .
4/ The water has been connected at the Recreation Ground. In the next three weeks the electricity will also be connected.
We have bought a cabin for cooking facilities, but cannot get the cabin delivered until the pads have been laid to stand it on. They were supposed to have been done by now but we were let down. However, we have managed to arrange for someone else to do it, so the work should be completed in 2--3wks
5/ Mr John Lowe, the Supervisor from Easington District.Council, was not happy with the work carried out by his men at the Cemetery, so he has appointed a dedicated man to cut the grass. Mr Lowe has also agreed to arrange for the machinery to be inspected by the District Council.
6/ Easington C.A.B. have been awarded a Lottery grant for £163,597 to continue outreach services. The offer is conditional on Town and Parish Councils.
Resolved that a donation of a £100 be made from this Parish
