The year-end Audit was completed on 27th March (left)

Other business:
1/
The Chairman introduced the new District Councillor Mr David Chaytor to the members. Cllr. Chaytor will be one of the Parish Representatives on Easington D.C.

2/ County Cllr. Maurice Nicholls informed members that the Arriva Bus Company were experiencing a lot of problems with the 213 and 214 services. At one stage the future of these two services were in doubt but are being kept on for the time being. Also some of their buses are said to be un-roadworthy but new ones are expected  to be put into operation.

3/ Cllr Nicholls informed members that the County Council are hoping to get funding for 3-5yrs in order to employ full time youth leaders and workers.

Trimdon Foundrv Parish Council
have erected a vandal proof Notice Board at the Foundry Junction opposite the Carpet Shop
This will display Notices of general interest such as when meetings are held etc and any other public information.
 



4/ Cllr. Joan Freak updated members on Street Warden Training Scheme .When completed Street Wardens will be operating throughout the whole district.




5/ The second phase of work on the play area (artists impression shown right ) is starting at the playing fields, including a  Portacabin with showers and electricity supply for the use of cricketers, footballer etc.
