Anthony was brought up by his Grandparent's Anthony and Elizabeth Calvert, he used Calvert as his surname even when he was married, but then reverted to Worthington thereafter.
Died at 6 Darlington Street, Wheatley Hill, Dur. 1881 census states she was born Wingate, Durham.
39. William Calvert ( Bowerbank )
William Calvert is actually Benjamin Bowerbank's son, see his will for proof. William calls himself Bowerbank, and also marries as Bowerbank but has his children christened as Calvert. See St Mary's Coxhoe Records.
Mary A Earl was Servant to Bowerbank family in 1871 census, she later married John Charles Haigh, and thier daughter Elizabeth A Haigh married William Calver Bowerbank who is the son of Benjamin and Sarah Calvert. Four chidren to William and Elizabeth Ann, but note that the children have been christened Calvert and not Bowerbank

On the date of his marriage Robert was living at 27 Readingroom Street, Quarrington Hill, Durham.
The church in which Robert Calvert and Mary Ann Race were married, and burried there, was demolished in 1995, although the newer part of the cemetery is still in use.

Mr Robert Calvert of the aged miners’ homes, Quarrington Hill, died in hospital, aged 85.
He was a miner for 52 years, starting at East Hetton Colliery when he was 13 and staying there until he retired at 65.
Mr Calvert was a deputy-over-man for the last 30 years and was the first secretary of the East Hetton branch of the Deputies Union.
At one time he was a member of Quarrington Hill St Paul’s Church, serving on the Church Council for many years, He was also a member of the Choir for 25 years, and for two years church organist.
A competent violinist, he helped in church anniversary choral work.
In his younger days, he was secretary of the Ferryhill and District League. He was also on the management committee of the league and a member of the Spennymoor Charity Cup Committee.
He lived at Trimdon Station for some years and was one of the founders of the Deaf Hill and Trimdon branch of the National Pensions Association, on which he served as secretary. He was also an official of the Deaf Hill Over-60 Club.
The funeral service was conducted by Mr James Stubbs in Thornley Gospel Hall; assisted by Mr Ken Smith. Interment was in Quarrington Hill Churchyard.
Principal mourners were Mrs Mary Ann Calvert (widow); Mr and Mrs Ralph Calvert (son and daughter in law); Mrs Alice Calvert (daughter); Mr and Mrs Fred Howe (daughter and son in law); Mrs Blanche Calvert, Mrs H Marr, Mr and Mrs Joseph Knights; Mrs M Skipp, Mrs Jane Willetts, Mr John Brench, and grandchildren.
